' The Journey '

Clearness of day, rivers swelling,

On and on, no time for dwelling.

Here and gone, yet eternally the same,

New and old, the melody, the theme.

Unchanging change, life,

Forceful and greedy in it's strife.

Containing the river like catching the wind,

Death not a thought, fear absent.

Embracing the shores,  touching,

Getting to know, then passing.

Surging onwards, memories containing,

Questions unanswered, for ever remaining.

Sameness and change, uncanny,

What counts is the journey, the journey, the journey -
