                                               ‘No Title’

Bathed in the blue light the statue of the horse stands,

White and gold, frozen in beauty.

A twig of a cherry tree ,

covered with blossoms bowing down to it.

The lucid, blue light making it appear as in a fairyland.

And dreaming, I am, in this room alone.

The glamour of the day all but gone.

It is here I live, I truly am.

Shadows on the wall, surreal, memories,

My heart, I listen to it’s beat.

Life, I breathe it in,

savoring its mysterious power,

Joy within.

The scent of roses, so subtle, so serene,

I live and I am not alone.

And I dream,

“I see the eyes of my beloved, I see his soul.

I see his beauty formed out of the pain within.

I see his thirst to know.

His inquisitiveness, his insatiable quest to find more.

His curiosity about people and things.

A child he is and yet a man,

So fragile. So vulnerable and yet so strong.

So manly this child, so brave, so true.

I see the laughter, the play, the tease

And the sincerity of heart in those eyes of his.

And they touch my soul.”

And I dream,

Shadows on the wall, surreal, memories,

Bathed in the blue light no fairy tale I see

and the twig of the cherry tree,

covered with blossoms bowing down to me.

It is here I live, I truly am.
